Custom made in 2022, this one-of-a-kind Blackwood rocking chair was inspired by classic American rocking chair design and built as a personal statement piece. Rather than following a standard chair pattern, the design was adapted to suit the timber, the proportions and the intended use as a comfortable reading or lounge chair.
Built from solid Blackwood timber, the chair combines traditional furniture detail with Pride Furniture’s handcrafted approach. The warm timber frame, curved rocking rails and shaped arms give the piece its classic form, while the upholstered panels add comfort and softness.
