Pride Furniture is built on practical design, careful workmanship and timber furniture made to last.
Practical Design
Furniture should suit the home, the timber and the way it will be used. Don works through the details so each piece feels considered, useful and properly resolved.
Careful Workmanship
Every piece is built with a hands-on workshop approach, shaped around quality materials, strong construction and a finish made to last.
Made With Purpose
Pride Furniture creates custom timber furniture, cabinetry and one-off pieces for people who want something personal, practical and made with care.

Donald Straka is the founder and head craftsman behind Pride Furniture. A self-taught furniture maker, Don has built Pride Furniture around practical design, careful timber selection and hands-on workmanship from his Daylesford workshop.
His work ranges from custom timber tables and wall units to cabinetry, vanities, doors and one-off furniture pieces. Each project is made with attention to proportion, timber character, construction and the way the piece will be used in the home.
Don’s approach is straightforward: understand the space, work with quality materials, and build furniture that feels considered, useful and made to last.
