Completed in 2024, this custom 2PAC and Messmate kitchen island was built as part of a broader architecturally designed home fit-out. The island combines painted 2PAC cabinetry with Victorian Messmate timber, giving the space a strong central feature that feels both refined and practical.
The design uses the warmth of Messmate to soften the clean cabinetry lines and connect the island with the wider timber detail throughout the home. The timber top, legs and carefully balanced proportions give the piece a furniture-like presence rather than making it feel like a standard kitchen cabinet.
Every detail was built to suit the quality of the home, with no laminate surfaces used. Each piece was fully finished in 2PAC inside and out, creating a durable, seamless and highly resolved result across the project.
