Completed in 2021, this custom recycled timber outdoor table was designed as a substantial centrepiece for outdoor dining and entertaining. Built from carefully selected recycled hardwoods, the table combines natural strength with the distinctive colour, grain and history found only in reclaimed timber.
The tabletop brings together character-rich species including Jarrah, red gum, Brushbox and Ironbark. Rather than trying to hide the variation between the boards, the design celebrates their different tones, markings and textures, giving the finished piece genuine warmth and individuality.
Strong proportions, solid timber construction and a practical frame make the table well suited to regular outdoor use. The timber was carefully hand-oiled and wiped to protect the surface while retaining its natural appearance and tactile finish.
